Designing a suit of armor, shield, and weapon is great fun. I decided to paint a guard posing in front of a wall wearing the set I created. In the fantasy genre most people, these days, paint dark violent scenes filled with mist and extreme action poses. I decided to compose a scene that's more what you'd get if you where to snap a photograph of your buddy posing in the bright afternoon sunshine.
